The other day I bought these candy canes for a cookie recipe and I just threw the extras in this cup. I was totally struck by how pretty they looked so I had to take a picture. Don't you love it when something accidental turns out so wonderfully?

I love decorating with candy - and not just my gingerbread candy cottage. I have some other holiday photos up on FB, too. I like to use simple things that make a statement, & red and white really do. I also like your dishes.
